IMPORTANT NOTICE
While Membership Fees are split 50/50 between National Office and the Riding, National Office has changed the way in which donations are now divided:
A donation now goes either 100% to the Riding, or 90% to National Office and 10% to the Riding, depending upon where you submit it. Thus if you send your money directly to National Office, PEH receives only 10% to support riding operations or to support the re-election of your M.P., Daryl Kramp.
While National Office has the resources required for mass solicitation via mail-outs or telephone at its fingertips, the riding has only its members to rely upon for support.

TAX RECEIPTS
Tax receipts for 2009 donations will be sent out in the fall of 2009 and in early 2010.
TAX CREDITS
Political contributions qualify for generous tax credits on your next tax return. The refund (or reduction in tax payable) depends only on the amount donated and not on taxable income. One only needs to file a tax return in order to receive it.
The tax credit formula is:
- for contributions between 0 and $400.00, you will get back 75%;
- for contributions between $400.00 and $750.00, you will get back $300.00 plus 50% of the amount over $400.00;
- for contributions over $750.00, you will get back $475.00 plus 33 1/3% of the amount over $750.00 up to a maximum of $592.00 annually.

CONTRIBUTION LIMITS
An individual may donate up to $1,100.00 in any calendar year to the national Conservative Party of Canada. The same individual may donate a further $1,100.00 to an individual riding assocation, (Electoral District Association).
The $2,200.00 limit includes all donations made to the national Party fund, the local Electoral District Association, any Contestant seeking the nomination for the Party and any Candidate running in the Federal Election for the Party.
Corporations or trade unions are not eligible to make political donations under new election financing rules
